Post-Surgery, Mid-Recovery, Organizing

Those of you who’ve listened to the most recent episodes of my podcast have heard about my surgery. I didn’t think it would be a huge deal, but it ended up being a more sideline-ing than I thought it would be. The surgery was more than two weeks ago, but I’m still sore and still don’t have my energy back. Long story, short – I had a sinuplasty to correct…

Same old goals, new approach

I think it’s pretty obvious I haven’t updated this page in quite some time. I’m going to change that, if for no other reason other than I need to put some systems in place that will keep me accountable. The last time I posted anything here was in February 2017, and, wow, my life has definitely changed in quite a few ways in just a year-and-a-half. I’m now unemployed (not…

Typically, Lovecraftian artwork and slides announcing upcoming panels are included in the show, and this year, the festival directors included book covers in the mix. This ended up on screen, so I guess it’s official! Fifty Shades of Monster Movies…

Watch this space

This weekend, I’ll be attending the HP Lovecraft Film Festival here in Portland, OR, as a guest. The panel schedule hasn’t been released yet, but I have seen what some of the possible panels will be, and I have to say I’m VERY excited for the possibilities! In my guest bio, an upcoming book project is mentioned, and I wanted to tease the cover here. Subscribe to the MonsterKidWriter.com mailing…
